Elliott Malamet

Dr. Elliott Malamet is the co-director of Living Jewishly, a non-denominational organization based in Toronto that hosts conversations and events meant to draw out the core existential meanings of Judaism and of a spiritual life. Their website is full of blogs, podcasts and classes meant to inspire new and creative ways of Jewish living and learning. Dr, Malamet taught English literature and Jewish philosophy at Canadian universities for twenty five years before making aliyah with his family in 2013. He currently lectures at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and teaches at various other institutions in Jerusalem and abroad. He is consulted globally on issues related to Jewish education, and his book on the ethics of teenagers is currently under review at a major publisher.
