Tamar Chaya Gordon

Tamar Chaya was born, grew up, and continues to work and practice in Melbourne/Naarm on the lands of the Boonn Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

Currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT University, Tamar explores the intersection of childhood, religion, language and material, inviting irony, humour and protest into her practice. Tamar works intuitively, and plays with the power of the subconscious and chance. Through this, her inner world is unveiled.
