Elisheva Mazya serves as the CEO of the Jerusalem-based non-profit organisation New Spirit, which works to keep creative young-adults in Jerusalem in order to help Israel’s capital be a thriving and pluralistic city. Elisheva helped found New Spirit while a student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she graduated with a
Bachelor Degree in Philosophy, Economics and Political Science with Honours (2006) and a Master’s Degree in Political Communications (2008). Widely recognised as a young leader of her generation, she has served as part of the President’s Young-Adult Forum and in 2012, as part of the Maoz Fellowship, as well as attending a one-month leadership development and social initiatives course at Harvard business school. Elisheva was chosen as one of the top five most influential women in Jerusalem by The Jerusalem Post. Elisheva publishes columns for the Yediot Ahronot newspaper.
